Gathering! 👈 This was the keyword for EasyEase's ident challenge for the 2025 motion design conference: Dash Bash.
Low res geometry for quick iterations
In my experience, these type of conferences are like a party! I feel like a little kid in a creative playground... With this in mind, I got inspired by the inflatables castles you used to play at as a kid. Mash up with the keyword, and this is what I made.
This was all done in C4D with balloon and soft body dynamics, and rendered in Redshift. Although Houdini is powerhouse for simulations, I enjoyed the quickness of doing everything in a single software.
